Tour description
Experience one of Australia’s most enchanting seasonal displays on this beautifully paced journey to the Victorian High Country for the Bright Autumn Festival. Set against a backdrop of rugged mountain peaks and rolling valleys, the region bursts into brilliant colour each autumn, with tree-lined streets, riverside parks and historic villages glowing in rich reds, golds and amber. With four nights based at the welcoming Bright Colonial Motel, there is ample time to explore the area’s unique blend of natural beauty, Gold Rush history and warm country hospitality. From heritage towns to scenic lookouts, each day brings a new place to discover.
Our journey to Bright includes a night in Wagga Wagga, allowing time to enjoy its gardens, heritage sites and vibrant regional character. The return journey is equally spectacular, travelling the Alpine Way through Kosciuszko National Park and the Upper Murray region, passing Khancoban, Tom Groggin Station and Dead Horse Gap before settling in for the night in lakeside Jindabyne. With visits to charming towns like Beechworth, Myrtleford and Yackandandah, as well as national parks, orchards and historic sites, this tour captures the very best of autumn in country Australia — colourful landscapes, memorable touring, and thoughtful inclusions every step of the way.

I would like to sincerely thank both Debbie and Hans for all their help, patience, and kindness to allow us to enjoy our trip so much. We have looked forward each year to the Australian Open, this year did not disappoint.

Re: Batemans Bay Hi Debbie, We have just returned from a 4-day trip to Bateman’s Bay with with Jimmy as our driver. I wanted to email to tell you how good he was. He was so friendly and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble, and his help / support of our older Ex-Servicemen and their wives was outstanding. He was also very interested in out stories which was lovely. I know we always get that level of service from OnCourse, and wanted you to know that it continued with Jimmy. He was so articulate on the microphone and always had some interesting bits of information about where we were or where we were near. The weather on our trip could have been better, but he did his best, moved things around, found places for us to stop in the rain, and always with a smile on his face and made the trip so enjoyable. His handling of the coach was also something we all commented on. Once again, another lovely trip away, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go on any trip Jimmy was involved in.
