Experience the laid-back charm and natural beauty of coastal New South Wales on this refreshing four-day escape to Byron Bay and its scenic hinterland. From golden beaches and rainforest-covered hills to artistic villages and rich local flavours, the region offers the perfect blend of relaxation and gentle exploration. The journey begins with a visit to the Byron Bay Wildlife Sanctuary and a tasting at Duck Creek Macadamias before settling into your luxury Byron retreat. Over the following days, you’ll enjoy some of the area’s most loved experiences, including a guided tour of The Farm Byron Bay, a ride on the iconic Byron Solar Train, and a serene sunset at Cape Byron Lighthouse — the easternmost point of Australia.

Venturing into the hinterland, you’ll discover the creativity and character of Bangalow, the peaceful ambience of the Crystal Castle & Shambhala Gardens, and the relaxed charm of Mullumbimby and Brunswick Heads. With free time to wander beautiful gardens, browse local shops or simply breathe in the coastal air, the pace remains easy and enjoyable throughout. Scenic stops at the Brunswick Heads Breakwall and Killen Falls showcase some of the region’s most spectacular natural highlights, while a visit to Lennox Head offers a final touch of seaside tranquillity. With thoughtful inclusions and all the warmth of an OCT tour, this journey invites you to unwind, explore and connect with the best of Byron Bay and beyond.

Testimonials

Dear On Course Tours Thank you so much for the wonderful 3 day trip to Oberon. It was great to go to Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens and “Bebeah” at Mt Wilson on the first day. Mayfield Gardens (the full gardens) did not disappoint and the weather was so kind to us. The rhododendrons and the crab apples were certainly on display for us. Jimmy did a great job looking after us all. The accommodation was great as well all the good food! Going to Everglades on the day we came home was an added bonus and some time in Leura was great as well. I was even home in time to plant out a replacement Daphne that I had got. l am now looking forward to the Yamba and Grafton trip – here’s hoping the weather will be kind to us. I would love next year’s program when it has been completed. I hear it is nearly finished.

Yours sincerely, RP
