Set against the magnificent backdrop of the World Heritage–listed Royal Exhibition Building and the lush Carlton Gardens, the show brings together Australia’s leading floral artists and landscape designers. This delightful tour pairs the Flower Show with a scenic journey through some of Victoria’s most charming towns and gardens. Travellers will explore the Benalla Botanic Gardens, admire the creativity of Marysville’s Bruno’s Sculpture Garden, and enjoy the elegance of Werribee Mansion and the Victoria State Rose Garden. From a relaxed city touring of Melbourne’s highlights to the cool tranquillity of the Dandenong Ranges and the vibrant atmosphere of Lygon Street, each day offers something special. Itinerary
This morning we set off on our journey, enjoying morning tea beside the tranquil waters of Lake Alexandra before continuing south. We pause in Yass for Lunch and take in a short heritage tour, admiring the Barnett-designed courthouse and town landmarks. Our travels lead us through Gundagai, where we visit the iconic Dad, Dave, Mum and Mabel statues, before stretching our legs at Holbrook to see the impressive submarine display. By evening we arrive in Albury and settle into our accommodation.

After breakfast, we set out for Benalla to explore the inspiring Art Gallery before enjoying Morning Tea among the beautiful Botanic Gardens. We collect lunch for later, then take time to wander the striking Benalla Street Art that brightens the town’s laneways. Our journey continues on the scenic backroads via Bonnie Doon and Lake Eildon, bringing us to Alexandra and Marysville. At Gallipoli Park, we enjoy lunch together before visiting Bruno’s Sculpture Garden, a whimsical collection nestled in the forest. Crossing the Black Spur, we make our way into Melbourne for the evening. Tonight we will relax and share dinner together at the hotel.

This morning, we wander through the tranquil Royal Botanic Gardens before setting out for the Mornington Peninsula. After collecting lunch, we enjoy it among the fragrant blooms of the Mornington Botanic Rose Gardens. The afternoon is ours to explore Mornington at leisure, with time to browse the shops or stroll the seaside. Later, we return to Melbourne, where the evening brings another chance to gather over dinner at a local restaurant and reflect on the day’s discoveries.

After breakfast, we set off on a scenic coach tour through Melbourne’s beautiful bayside suburbs. Traveling via St Kilda, we follow the sparkling shoreline of Port Phillip Bay through Elwood, Brighton, Sandringham, Mentone, and Beaumaris, pausing to enjoy morning tea along the way. We continue to the magnificent Werribee Park Mansion, where we’ll enjoy lunch and take time to stroll through the beautifully landscaped gardens and admire the mansion’s grand exterior. Our return journey takes us through historic Williamstown before we discover more of Melbourne’s city sights and landmarks from the comfort of our coach.
This evening, we’ll gather for a delicious two-course dinner at a local restaurant on Lygon Street — Melbourne’s renowned “Little Italy.” Famous for its vibrant atmosphere, charming alfresco dining, and array of authentic Italian eateries, Lygon Street offers the perfect setting to unwind and enjoy a memorable meal surrounded by the city’s rich café culture.

Today we celebrate the colour, creativity, and inspiration of the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show, Australia’s premier celebration of horticulture and design. Set within the beautiful heritage surrounds of the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens, the show features breathtaking floral displays, award-winning landscape gardens, and imaginative installations from leading designers and florists.
You may choose to spend as much time as you wish exploring the show’s many exhibits, browsing garden stalls, and discovering new ideas and inspirations. With a wide variety of food outlets and cafes on site, you’ll have plenty of options to enjoy lunch at your leisure.
Alternatively, you may wish to use part of the day to further explore Melbourne’s many attractions — from boutique shopping and charming laneways to riverside walks and museums — before returning to the hotel.
This evening, we’ll regroup for a relaxed dinner together at the hotel, sharing highlights from our day of colour and creativity.

Our final day takes us into the Dandenong Ranges. We pause at Emerald Lake for morning tea before stepping into the beauty of Cloudehill Gardens, where art and landscape weave together in vibrant harmony. After lunch in Olinda, we make our way to the airport for our flight from Melbourne to Sydney. With gardens, galleries, history and shared experiences behind us, we say farewell, carrying home fond memories of our time together.
