Tour description

This relaxing four-day tour showcases some of the most beautiful scenery on the NSW South Coast — an ecological wonderland of pristine beaches, forested mountains, shimmering rivers and dramatic coastal headlands. From the rugged cliffs of the Illawarra Coast to the bright white sands of Vincentia and the sweeping beaches of Gerroa and Gerringong, each day offers breathtaking views and peaceful moments.

Providing a striking change of scenery, our journey also takes us across Cambewarra and Barrengarry Mountains, where rolling green hills give way to rugged ranges and spectacular rainforest landscapes.

Itinerary

This morning, we begin our journey with a stop at Stanwell Park, where we enjoy morning tea overlooking the stunning coastal cliffs. We then continue south, travelling through Wollongong, Shellharbour, and Lake Illawarra, before arriving in the seaside town of Kiama, famous for its blowhole and coastal charm.
Later in the day, we pause for some free time in Berry, a quaint township with boutique shops, cafés, and heritage streetscapes. By afternoon, we arrive in Mollymook, where we settle into our accommodation and have time to relax before enjoying dinner at the Mollymook Golf Club located just across the road.

Back on shore, we enjoy lunch by the water before making our way to the charming village of Milton, where we’ll have some free time to browse antique shops, art galleries, and boutiques. By late afternoon, we return to Mollymook with time to refresh before another dinner at the Mollymook Golf Club.

Mogo works in conjunction with Taronga and Western Plains Zoos and is achieving outstanding results. It is home to over 100 animals of 38 rare and exotic species in world-class facilities, and we will visit various enclosures at feeding time. The dedicated keepers will provide us with information and insights into many of the animals, including Bengal Tigers, White Lions, and Gorillas.

In the afternoon, our coastal drive takes us through Lilli Pilli, Circuit Beach, Denhams Beach, Sunshine Bay, and Batehaven, before arriving at the Eurobodalla Regional Botanic Gardens. Here, we enjoy oysters and nibbles in a peaceful natural setting surrounded by native plants and birdlife.

We return to Mollymook with plenty of time for a dip in the ocean or walk along the beachfront prior to dinner.

Dear, Sir/Madam, I’ve recently returned from your Bright Autumn tour and was delighted to experience this. As usual, I speak highly of “On Course Tours” and I especially give appraisal to your tour leader named, John. He presented professionally, drove the bus in the same manner. He was always respectful, and very thoughtful, towards all his passengers. Thank you for a well organised tour.

Yours faithfully, Mrs B.
